What is the difference between the VRT330HD vs VRT350HD?
Answers to these questions are hard to fine. That is why I’ve decided to make this website to answer some of the most asked questions, and to better inform you.
Today, we’ll take a look at the difference between the Omega VRT330HD and the VRT330. First and foremost, the HD in VRT330HD stands for Heavy Duty. The filter screen on the VRT330HD is 8 times stronger than the Vrt330. And that’s the only difference (besides the price) between the two juicers.
Why Is That Significant?
When the VRT330 juicer first came on the market, it was beloved by just about everyone. However, there was one flaw that can’t be ignored. A lot of the reviewers have mentioned the filter screen cracks under heavy use.
This is significant because Omega has a reputation of making top quality juicers. You won’t find too many people complaining about parts cracking on other Omega models. The plastic that holds the filter screen tend to crack under the tremendous pressure.
Omega claims it was because a bad batch of plastic, which I do believe them. And since there is a 10 year warranty, all you have to do is call up Omega and they should ship you a new one.
Which Juicer Should You Buy, VRT330HD or VRT330?
The VRT330HD and the VRT330 are essentially the same machine, except the 330HD has a screen that is 8 times stronger.
And with that, I would have to recommend the VRT330HD. Why? Because there is a known problem with the Vrt330. The screen’s known to crack. Even though it’s covered under the warranty, it is still a pain in the behind to call Omega, fill out some paper work (I assume), ship the broken parts to Omega, and wait for Omega to ship it back.
I would rather get it right the first time, and have that piece of mind by purchasing something with much stronger parts. The price is only about $50 difference between the 330HD and the 330…if you keep the juicer for 10 years, that’s only $0.41 per month extra! It’s an investment worth making. It will save you a lot of headache in the future, and you will use your juicer with total confidence.
By the way, the only difference between the Omega VRT330HD vs Omega VRT350HD, is the color. 330HD is pearl white, and the 350HD is black and silver. I have included the best price links below for all three juicers. Here is a more in-depth review of the Omega VRT350HD if you want more information.
